Our Story

GY6 Services was built from a place of struggle, resilience, and unwavering determination. In 2022, its founder reached a breaking point—homeless with his family, living out of their car, unsure of what tomorrow held but committed to building a better life. That commitment led him to enroll in a security guard training program, not as a job but as a stepping stone toward a future of independence and purpose. After securing his first temporary position, he made the bold decision to launch his own licensed security agency, knocking on doors for nearly two years to build trust, credibility, and opportunity. What began as a one-man effort has since grown into a thriving company operating in multiple states with more than thirty employees, many of whom earned their certifications through the same workforce training programs that helped him get started. Our story is a testament to perseverance, community, and the belief that growth comes from learning, adapting, and never giving up. Today, GY6 continues to expand, driven by the mission to protect others, create jobs, and inspire people to transform adversity into strength.
